Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 1 April 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to the MQSync service operated by PE O. Shutkov ("we", "us", "our") at mqsync.com. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle issues all invoices and processes all refunds on our behalf.
1. Free trial
All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial with Business-plan features. No credit card is required during the trial. If you choose not to subscribe at the end of the trial, your account moves to the Free plan automatically — you are not charged anything.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with MQSync, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment on a new subscription. The guarantee applies once per customer and covers the initial charge only — it does not apply to renewal payments.
To request a refund under this guarantee, contact us at support@mqsync.com within 30 days of the charge with the subject line "Refund request" and the email address on your account. We will process the refund within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by Paddle.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing settings or by contacting us at support@mqsync.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to your paid plan until that date. After the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan — your projects, tasks, and sync history are preserved, subject to Free plan limits.
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period except where required by applicable law or covered by the 30-day guarantee above.
4. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive an email receipt from Paddle after each successful renewal. To cancel before the next renewal, do so at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Refunds are not issued for renewal charges except in cases of billing error. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.
5. Plan upgrades and downgrades
When you upgrade to a higher plan mid-cycle, the change takes effect immediately and Paddle calculates a prorated charge for the remainder of the current period.
When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the next renewal. No partial refund is issued for the difference in price during the current period.
6. Exceptions
The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Renewal charges (only the initial charge of a new subscription is covered)
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Accounts that have previously received a refund under this policy
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
7. How refunds are processed
All refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Once we approve a refund, Paddle will issue it to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer and typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle when the refund is issued.
